Changes to my study program

Hello! Today I will write my opinion about some changes that could be made to my study program. First of all, I study Theory and History of Art at Universidad de Chile, the career lasts four years and very few people enter to study it (40 persons for generation and about a half leaves the program after a year).  About the curriculum I think that it work's right, but it forms us almost only in research. In this way, if someone prefer another specialty of the career (for example the Cultural Management) it will be difficult learn and prepare itself to this type of work with the study program that we current have. I would like too that the study program integrate work with other artistic disciplines (with Visual Arts specifically), because we almost don't do it and we will need to do it in the future.  I think that the workload is suitable and the length of studies too, but the problem is the fact that we do the thesis at the same time we have subjects; in fact, students take an ...

My opinion about recycling

I grew up learning about the importance of caring nature and my family recycles since I have memory, so to me recycling is a permanent routine in my life, even now that I live alone. Although recycling is common and important to me I know that the responsibility of the current climate crisis is mainly of the industries, for example the meat industry. If you have doubts about this example, I invite you to watch the documentary “Cowspiracy”, available on Netflix.  I know that by being vegan or fighting against the polluting industries you contribute much more to caring for the environment than when you recycling or cycling, in fact I am vegetarian since 5 years ago and I don’t have a car. But I think too that recycling is important for two reasons: first, between recycling or not recycling your garbage is better to do it, because even if you are not doing an environmental revolution you are doing something to fight pollution. My Future Job

  Hello! even if in this moment of my life I’m not focus yet in possible formal jobs, because first I want to finish the University, I am going to tell you about what future job I would like to have.                         First of all, I would like to do a master or a PhD in Cultural Management because in this moment that is my favorite area of work; I would like to do it abroad but even in Chile is so expensive, so probably I will not do it. I don't know really what job I would like to have, but I am sure that I prefer to work outdoors (in the sense that I don’t like research) because I like to work in contact with the peoples, always through the art, of course!  I would also like to travel in a future job and learn about new experiences in Cultural Management.    About the salary I’m not really hopeful because is not easy to find a work with a good salary in the area that I would like to work, ...

"Ya no estoy aquí" (2019)

  Hello! in this post i will recommend you the last movie that i watched and i liked. "Ya no estoy aquí" (2019) is a film directed by the Mexican Filmmaker Fernando Farías and is available on Netflix.   The movie is about the history of a young boy called Ulises Samperio who live in the poor suburbs of Monterrey (Mexico) with his family, and suddenly he must escape to New York for having problems with a dangerous drug gang from the neighborhood. Since Ulises was a boy he belonged to an urban culture characteristic of the 2000' in Monterrey called Kolombia. The music and photographic of the film is awesome and you can see the way that they used to dress (inspired in the Latin-American "Cholo") and the music and way that they dance (Cumbia music).   Ulises leaves this life that he loves because of a problem with a gang and arrives to New York, where he knows an Asian girl called Lin. Best Holidays Ever

  Today i will write about a holiday that i remember with a lot of love and happiness, maybe it has even been to me the best holidays in the latest years. In summer 2016 my mom and my dad was tired and bored of the monotony of our holidays, because we didn't used to travel to much and we always used to rest at home in the few days off that they had (beacuse they always worked a lot). Suddenly, and very  quickly, me and my sister Paula started to search some different place to go, we talk with our parents and we decided together to go to Buenos Aires. That was really weird, because we don't use to origanize events or things at the last minute, but actually i think that this fact maked this holydays one of the best i ever had in the latest years.   Anyway, we traveled to Buenos Aires one week later and we rest there for a week. A country I'd like to visit

I think it's really difficult to me to think of a country where I would not like to visit, because, actually, i would like to travel and meet all the countries of the world. I think that all places have something beauty to show you and all the cultures have something new to teach you, and this make the world a beautiful place. But, if i had to choose a country that i would like to visit right now (forgetting the covid-19, please) it would be Spain. Spain is an European country with 47,3 millions of population (2020), the official language is Spanish, but there are also quite a few co-official languages and dialects ​​that make Spain a multicultural country. In a future i would like to study in Spain, because they know a lot about History of art (and i study that career). After that i even would like to work and live there, because they have a good quality of life, the food is delicious (especially paella) and the cultural life is very active and varied.
